White Sage Bundle

Salvia apiana, grown in our soil in Kīlauea. Cut by hand, dried slow, tied in small batches. The smoke is sharp, resinous, and clean.

White sage is sacred to Native Californian peoples, and wild stands are being stripped by commercial harvest. We don't buy or sell wild-harvested sage. Ours is cultivated here, on our half acre.

To burn: light the tip, let it catch, then blow out the flame and let it smoke. Hold a fireproof dish beneath it. Press the ember into the dish or into sand to put it out. Never leave it burning unattended.
